Warhammer 40,000 Adepta Sororitas Castigator – 108-Piece Plastic Kit | Games Workshop

Overview

The Warhammer 40,000 Adepta Sororitas Castigator is an imposing relic for the battlefield, crafted with ornate gothic detailing that catches the eye from across the table. Its silhouette carries the distinct fleur-de-lys iconography of the Adepta Sororitas, lending a sense of heritage and character to any force. This model invites you to bring a sense of history and drama to your games, whether on casual skirmishes or larger battles.

It arrives as a 108-piece plastic kit that rewards careful construction and nuanced posing. You can outfit the main weapon with either the Castigator battle cannon or Castigator autocannons, offering different tactical profiles on the table. The kit also includes modular wargear and gunner options, plus brazier elements that can be posed to look like they’re blazing or cooling, giving you flexible display options before or after painting.

Versatility is paired with faithful detail. The model’s gothic ornamentation and fleur-de-lys motif stay true to the Warhammer 40,000 aesthetic while letting you tailor its presence to your army’s story. The kit’s parts are designed to be assembled with standard plastic hobby tools, and you’ll find the brassy brazier accents add personality whether you display the Castigator on its own diorama or marshal it as a centerpiece in a larger force.

Display and tabletop presence

Ready for display or gaming, the Castigator offers a dramatic presence that can elevate a whole force. While it’s designed for Warhammer 40,000 Adepta Sororitas armies, the component-rich kit also serves as a showcase piece for hobby display shelves or as a dynamic centerpiece in narrative battles.

The workbench experience

On the workbench, the Castigator feels substantial yet refined, with panel lines, rivets, and the fleur-de-lys motifs inviting careful inspection. The molding quality provides satisfying fit in most spots, allowing you to adjust poses with minimal stress during assembly. When painted, the range of textures—from smooth armor plates to textured tracks and brazier flames—offers a satisfying contrast during brushwork. For tabletop play, its size and silhouette help it stand out alongside other artillery or armored units.

Expansion and army cohesion

Size-wise, the Castigator sits between a standard tank and larger artillery, making it a flexible centerpiece for a Sororitas army. It pairs well with other Adepta Sororitas kits and imperial wargear to tell a cohesive battle narrative. When you’re ready to expand, the 108-piece kit provides ample build options to mix with future releases, helping you tailor your force’s look and tactical footprint while keeping a strong, cohesive aesthetic on the tabletop.
