Characters, threats, and strategic depth

You’ll choose from two heroines, each bringing a different toolkit to the table, influencing how you approach danger. Hans the Butcher is the included antagonist, while additional Feature Film boxes (sold separately) offer further antagonists like the Poltergeist or Dr. Fright, each with its own tailor-made terror cards to shape the night’s hazards. The game rewards careful planning, flexible thinking, and careful hand management as you marshal your resources, craft your routes, and decide when to push for a crucial advantage.

Gameplay feel and accessibility

The blend of strategic movement, item searching, and occasional combat creates a focused, adrenaline-fueled experience without overwhelming new players. The learning curve is gentle enough for first-time hobbyists, yet the layering of character abilities and killer cards provides depth for seasoned players seeking a repeatable solo horror challenge. Expect tense, immersive play that respects your agency—benefits are framed as possibilities, not guarantees.
