The Learning Journey My First Puzzle Sets — 4-In-A-Box Ocean Toddler Puzzles, 2-4-6-8

My First Puzzle Sets 4-In-A-Box from The Learning Journey are four progressive ocean-themed cardboard puzzles (2, 4, 6, 8 pieces) designed to grow with toddlers’ developing motor and problem-solving skills.

This compact puzzle collection introduces young children to colorful sea creatures through four increasing difficulty levels. Each puzzle is sized for toddler hands and crafted from thick, durable cardboard so little learners can practice matching, hand-eye coordination, and early reasoning without frustration. The set combines bright illustrations with a graduated challenge: start with a simple 2-piece match and work up to an 8-piece scene that reveals a lively underwater group.

How do these puzzles support early development?

The set encourages several foundational skills at once: fine motor control when handling pieces, visual discrimination while identifying shapes and colors, and cognitive sequencing as kids assemble the images. Short, repeated play sessions build confidence as puzzles increase in complexity.

• 2→4→6→8 piece progression for stepped learning
• Promotes fine motor and hand-eye coordination
• Encourages color, shape, and object recognition
• Boosts confidence through achievable challenges

What are the safety and construction details parents want to know?

Each piece is cut from sturdy, thick cardboard designed to withstand toddler handling and repeated use. The Learning Journey tests its toys to meet domestic and international safety standards, and the pieces are sized to avoid small-part hazards for the intended age range.

• Durable cardboard construction—20 pieces total
• Piece size appropriate for toddlers to grip and manipulate
• Regularly safety tested and compliant with toy regulations
• Printed with vivid, non-messy inks for clear imagery

How can caregivers use this set to extend learning and play?

Turn puzzle time into a broader learning moment by asking simple questions about colors, counting pieces, or naming animals. Use the puzzles for short guided sessions, or include them in free play to encourage cooperative solving with siblings or friends.

• Ask child to name colors and animals in the picture
• Count pieces together when assembling each puzzle
• Pair with storytime about the ocean for themed play
• Encourage cooperative play by taking turns placing pieces

What are the physical specs and content of the box?

The compact box contains four separate puzzles that step up in piece count from 2 to 8, totaling 20 pieces. Each assembled puzzle measures approximately 12.5" x 8.5", making them large enough to show clear images yet small enough to store neatly on a shelf.

• Four puzzles: 2-piece, 4-piece, 6-piece, 8-piece
• Total 20 pieces, each puzzle ~12.5" x 8.5" when complete
• Ocean characters include turtle, fish, dolphin and friends
• Compact packaging ideal for home or travel
