Retevis RT388 Kids Walkie Talkies

Meet the Retevis RT388 kids walkie talkies, a cheerful two-pack designed for outdoor adventures and everyday play. The vibrant yellow casing is easy to spot in a backpack or campsite, and the simple controls are built with kid-friendly ergonomics in mind. These compact devices offer direct one-to-one or group chats on the same channel with CTCSS privacy codes, helping young explorers stay connected as they move through backyards, parks, and trips with family or friends.

What makes the RT388 stand out for families? The durable build and extended reach provide reliable support for active play. A convenient belt clip lets children attach the units to belts, backpacks, or gear without fuss. When the sun goes down, the included flashlight and LCD backlight turn dusk into a playful moment, inviting nighttime exploration or late-evening scavenger hunts.

Communication safety and ease are at the core of the design. With 22 channels and 99 CTCSS codes, kids can choose a private-sounding channel, reducing background chatter and helping them stay focused on the conversation. The keypad lock protects personalized settings from accidental changes, so the devices remain consistent across siblings or friends when they use multiple RT388 units.

Practical tips for use: outdoor camping, neighborhood play, weekend hikes, or family games in the park. The pair is ready to go straight out of the box with minimal setup; simply power on, select a channel and CTCSS, and you’re in sync with your group. Durability, visibility, and a touch of adventure design merge to create a kid-friendly toy that feels like a real communication device while remaining a safe, supervised play companion.
