The game centers on a 5-digit color code and more than 2,000 possible combinations, inviting players to apply reasoning to outsmart their opponent while keeping the mood light and competitive.
Inside the box you’ll find a sturdy board with a built-in tray to store pegs, plus a library of pieces that feels satisfying in the hand. The 192 color pegs come in eight bright colors, complemented by 60 key pegs in two distinct shades to signal feedback. Two player markers in blue and red help track who’s leading each round.
How a round unfolds is easy to learn but rich in possibility. One player acts as codemaker and selects a secret 5-color code. The other player, the codebreaker, places color pegs on the board to propose a guess. The codemaker responds with black or white signals using the key pegs: black for a correct color in the correct position, white for a correct color in the wrong position, and no mark if the color is not part of the code. The game moves through successive rows as deductions evolve, until the code is cracked or shots run out. Each round offers up to 30 attempts for the codebreaker to crack the secret code.
