Osmo Base for iPad – Educational STEM Games for Kids Ages 3-11

Unlock hands-on learning with Osmo Base for iPad

To dive into the Osmo universe, simply place your iPad in the Base, clip on the reflector, and you’re ready to play. Osmo blends physical game pieces with digital play, giving children a tactile way to interact with each activity. This setup works without WiFi for gameplay, so learning can happen anywhere—from a living room corner to a classroom nook. The experience is designed to feel like a playful workshop, turning ideas into on-screen responses as the child moves pieces in real life.

What’s included

• Osmo Base for iPad and Reflector
• Two game apps: Masterpiece (creative drawing) and Newton (physics-inspired puzzles)
• Learning tools that bridge real-world actions with on-screen feedback

Two engaging, age-appropriate games

Masterpiece invites kids to sketch and see their drawings become part of the game, nurturing hand–eye coordination and artistic exploration. Newton invites simple, hands-on problem solving as children arrange items and draw lines to influence on-screen outcomes, blending imagination with logic.

What kids learn along the way

• Visual thinking, problem solving, drawing, listening, and early physics concepts
• Real-time feedback from the system that encourages experimentation in a low-stress setting

Real-world use and classroom confidence

Approved by parents and teachers worldwide, Osmo is used in thousands of classrooms and homes. The design supports beginners while offering room to grow, making it a flexible addition to daily learning routines.

Setup, compatibility, and notes

Osmo Base requires a compatible iPad (iPad or iPhone not included). The base ships with two game apps; compatibility depends on your device and iOS version. A reflector is included to bridge physical play with the digital screen, and the system does not require a constant WiFi connection for game play.
