MindWare Science Academy Bath Bomb Lab Kit – 20-Piece DIY Chemistry Experiments for Kids

Turn bath time into a hands-on science adventure with MindWare’s Science Academy Bath Bomb Lab Kit. This 20-piece DIY set invites boys and girls to explore fragrance, color, and fizz while learning the fundamentals of chemistry through play. With more than four bath bomb experiments possible, children can tailor scents and hues to their own preferences, making each session feel like a mini-lab at home.

What’s inside and how it works

• Active ingredients and sensory components: baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), citric acid, cornstarch, and glycerine for gentle fizz and texture.
• Practical lab gear: two large measuring beakers, a round bath bomb mold, two trays for shaped bombs, gloves, and goggles for safe handling.
• Color and scent options: two bottles of liquid coloring and a vanilla fragrance to craft customized aromas and appearances.
• Tools for precise work: spoons, stirring sticks, a pipette, and balloons with ties to help mix, measure, and shape.

Educational playground you can feel

• Safe, hands-on exploration of how different ingredients interact to create fizz and scent, encouraging curiosity and observation.
• Color experiments and fragrance blending offer opportunities to discuss color theory, olfactory notes, and distribution in a sample solution.
• Data collection and note-taking tasks help kids practice recording observations, results, and ideas like a junior scientist.
• Sensory play that can be part of a calming bath routine while remaining entertaining and educational.

Why it makes a thoughtful gift
