MindWare Crystal Growing Kit Unicorns – STEM Science for Kids 8+

Sparkling Unicorn Crystals: a hands-on STEM adventure

MindWare’s Crystal Growing Kit Unicorns blends playful fantasy with real-world science. Designed for curious minds, this kit invites kids to watch plain figurines transform into glittering crystal displays, offering a tangible sense of discovery while exploring foundational concepts in crystallization and materials science.

What you’ll create

• Three unicorn molds that become shimmering crystal sculptures.
• Three color options to color the crystal manes with bright, jewel-like hues.
• A dedicated growing container and practical tools to mix, monitor, and display results.
• A straightforward instruction guide to help young scientists follow along step by step.

How it works

Once the crystal powder is combined with the provided liquids, tiny crystals begin to form on the unicorn figurines. The process unfolds as crystals gradually develop and grow, often becoming visible after a night’s rest. This overnight crystallization offers a tangible sense of anticipation and progress without complexity.

Display-ready results

When the crystals take shape, the unicorns emerge with a sparkling, collectible look. The finished pieces can be shown on a shelf, desk, or classroom display, adding a hint of magic to learning spaces while showcasing the student’s effort and curiosity.

What’s included and who it’s for

• 3 unicorn molds and 3 colors of crystal powder
• Stirring sticks, a growing container, and an easy-to-follow manual
