LEGO Minecraft The Deep Dark Battle Set 21246 — Ancient City, Warden, Explosion Tower | Ages 8+

Bring Minecraft battles to life at home

The Deep Dark Battle set (21246) invites young builders to a tactile, immersive Minecraft experience in one of the game’s most mysterious biomes. An ancient city sits beneath the surface, built with texture-rich bricks that feel satisfying to click together. A buildable warden rises from the deepslate when you turn a knob, adding a dramatic centerpiece to every play session. The combination of exploration, mining, and high-energy action makes this a hands-on way to expand how kids revisit their favorite world.

What you build and collect

This set brings together two knight figures—the Arbalest knight and the Netherite knight—each equipped with armor and weapons, plus an enchanted hoe to harvest skulk resources. A towering warden figure commands attention as it emerges from below, creating a memorable moment in the build. The hidden treasure chest among the ruins hints at rewards to discover during the battle, including a bone, a healing potion, and two snowballs for extra flair.

• 584 pieces to craft a detailed ancient city with interactive interiors
• Two hero minifigures with themed weapons and armor for action-packed play
• A large, buildable warden that rises when activated for a dramatic showdown
• A tower you can topple by flicking a switch, revealing a hidden treasure
• Skulk-inspired elements and an enchanted hoe to add farming and exploration options

Play, planning, and digital helping tools

Beyond the on-screen battles, kids can plot routes through the city, mine resources, and shape their own narrative as they play. The LEGO Builder app adds a tactile layer to the process with intuitive zoom and rotate tools to help visualize the model while you build, making the experience feel more like stepping into a Minecraft world.

• Encourages imaginative storytelling as you set up battles and exploration scenarios
• Supports fine motor skills through precise brick placement and assembly
• Works with the LEGO Builder app to preview designs and plan the build

Designed for Minecraft fans, this 584-piece set serves as a versatile gift or anytime activity for kids 8 and up. The action-packed battlefield, collectible minifigures, and treasure-hunt elements open multiple avenues for play, from epic battles to quiet exploration. It’s a tangible way to complement digital adventures, with the potential to spark long-lasting storytelling and cooperative building sessions.

If you enjoy expanding your Biome adventures with friends or solo builds, this set pairs well with other LEGO Minecraft products, letting you extend the Deep Dark storyline across new locations and battles.
