KiwiCo Bake-a-Cake Stand Mixer — Wooden Kids Kitchen Play Set (Ages 3+) Learn Fractions

Bake-a-Cake Stand Mixer: Creative play meets early math

Meet the KiwiCo Bake-a-Cake Stand Mixer, a wooden play set designed for budding bakers ages 3 and up. The kit invites little hands to grip chunky pieces, pretend to whisk, and decorate a candle-topped cake. Its natural wood finish, soft colors, and tactile details create an approachable, cozy kitchen vibe that invites repeat play and storytelling.

Playful math that grows with curiosity

Pretend baking naturally invites measurement, counting, and fractions. Kids can use the recipe cards and activity mat to count out ingredients, compare quantities, and experiment with fractions as they divide ingredients into halves, quarters, and sixths.

• Counting and matching with recipe cards to build early numeracy and one-to-one correspondence.
• Fraction play through simple divisions that mirror real baking steps.
• Color discrimination as they arrange pink blue and yellow candles for a mini color-matching task.

What’s included and how it fuels pretend cooking

The kit includes a sturdy wooden stand mixer, a selection of play ingredients, measuring spoons, recipe cards, and a candle-topped cake. Kids can bake multiple pretend treats, share a slice with a friend, or follow the cards to guide their pretend kitchen adventures.

• Realistic, kid-friendly tools designed for hands-on manipulation.
• Structured play with recipe cards and an activity mat to support guided pretend baking.
• Open-ended possibilities: repurpose the crate box as an oven, or bring in playdough for extra creations.
