Games Workshop Warhammer 40,000 Astra Militarum Gaunt's Ghosts 6-Model Set

Overview

Led by the irrepressible Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt, the Tanith First and Only operate as a reconnaissance regiment within the Astra Militarum. Known for the harsh realities of their homeworld, these Ghosts earn their name through stealth, tracking, and adaptability on varied terrain. Their distinctive camo cloaks and measured, patient approach give them a particular edge in spotting even subtle threats on the battlefield, and their reputation among peers reflects the silent strength of a well-coordinated unit.

What’s in the box

This six miniatures kit features some of the best known characters from the early Gaunt's Ghosts novels. Each model has a unique loadout that signals their role in the squad: Colonel-Commissar Gaunt with a bolt pistol and chainsword; Master Sniper Hlaine Larkin with a long-las; "Try Again" Bragg with an autocannon; and the others bearing lascarbines along with their signature camo cloaks and the Tanith First and Only insignia. The kit is comprised of 35 plastic components, allowing you to assemble all six named characters: Gaunt, Corbec, Rawne, Larkin, Bragg, and Mkoll. This set includes 6 Citadel 28.5 mm round bases for tabletop play.

Character details and stealth

Gaunt's Ghosts are celebrated for stealth on light terrain; their camo cloaks help them blend into cover, making them nearly invisible at dawn or dusk. This adds a narrative layer to painting and gaming: you can imagine the squad slipping through hedges, ruins, and shadowed streets as they scout, flank, and coordinate fire support.

Miniatures and painting opportunities

• Six distinct characters offer varied poses and weapons for dynamic tabletop scenes
• Detailed heraldry and camo cloaks provide painting challenges and display appeal
• Plastic components allow hobbyists to customize poses and basing schemes

Usage and setup

Designed for Warhammer 40,000 games, the Gaunt's Ghosts can be integrated into Astra Militarum narratives and mission setups. The 28.5 mm bases fit standard infantry layouts, with scope for diorama-style display or narrative campaigns.
