xOverview
The Games Workshop Warhammer 30k Legiones Astartes Predator Battle Tank is a detailed multipart plastic kit built for the Deimos pattern. Designed to lead armoured squadrons on the tabletop, it combines a commanding silhouette with flexible loadouts and legion flair. The model arrives unpainted and requires assembly, inviting hobbyists to plan, build, and personalize their force with care.
Key configuration options
The Predator’s modular design lets you tailor its battlefield role through distinct turret and weapon choices, plus supporting sponson options. This versatility supports varied mission narratives and dynamic table presence.
- Four turret weapons to choose from: rapid-fire Predator cannon, gravis lascannon, volkite macro-saker, graviton cannon
- Sponson options for extra firepower: heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, volkite culverins
- Pintle mounted upgrades and a versatile combi-weapon system with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite)
- Support accessories: searchlight, dozer blade, hunter-killer missile, towing hooks, sigils, and a space marine gunner or spotter option
Upgrades and markings
In addition to core armament, the kit includes upgrade components and a Vehicle Transfer Sheet with 44 Legion markings and icons for Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists. These elements let you customize heraldry and insignia to suit your force’s theme.
Cosmetic options and a choice of a closed hatch or a dedicated figure enhance display potential. The 104 plastic components are designed for precise assembly and crisp detailing once painted.
Assembly, painting, and hobby notes
Hobbyists often benefit from a careful dry-fit process before gluing. Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints are commonly recommended to achieve durable joins and vibrant finishes. As an unpainted kit requiring assembly, it offers a rewarding build path that can encourage strategic thinking and social interaction as you plan loadouts and share ideas with fellow players.
Why this Predator fits your collection
The Deimos pattern Predator delivers imposing battlefield presence with loadout flexibility that supports varied play styles. Its weapon and upgrade options invite tactical planning, while the legion-specific markings help you craft a distinctive visual narrative on the battlefield and in display cases.
