The edition includes the New Dangers expansion, introducing an Assist action that can derail rivals' plans and a new set of Event cards that reshuffle rounds to keep things fresh.
How it plays
The team dives into a temple that unfolds over five rounds. Each turn reveals a new card—treasure, hazard, or twist. Players outside the temple choose to press on or escape with their loot. Those still inside can grow their stash, but must watch for the hazard card drawn twice, which can force everyone to flee with what they’ve gathered so far.
Balance risk and reward; the player who gathers the most treasure wins. The experience is social and fast-paced, making it a natural fit for parties and game nights with up to eight players.
