A&A 15-Inch Magnetic Wooden Chess Set – Folding Travel Chess with 2 Extra Queens

Overview

Discover the A&A 15-Inch Magnetic Wooden Chess Set, a handcrafted folding board designed for smooth, stable play and easy on-the-go setup. This travel-ready set blends traditional craftsmanship with practical features, inviting you to enjoy thoughtful, immersive games wherever you are. While not a guarantee of outcome, the design aims to enhance your focus and enjoyment during matches.

Design and Materials

The 15 inch board presents 1.6 inch Walnut and Maple squares, delivering a classic, high-contrast playing surface. A 0.5 inch thick frame uses mortise and tenon joints for enduring sturdiness, while rounded corners provide a comfortable touch along the edges. A patented mini bracket supports the board so it sits flat during play, and it also helps shield your table from the metal lock of the chess box—two practical benefits that turn setup into a smoother, more confident moment.

• Patented mini bracket keeps the board flat for uninterrupted play.
• Natural wood surface with rounded corners for a refined feel and easy handling.
• 1.6 inch squares on a 15 inch board for clear piece placement.
• Sturdy 0.5 inch frame with traditional mortise and tenon joints.

Magnetic Pieces and Extras

The magnetic pieces are handcrafted from wood, featuring exquisite carving and a felted base to protect the board’s surface. The set includes two extra queens, bringing the total to 34 pieces. The magnets are tuned to hold pieces in place during transit or on rough roads, while remaining comfortable to move on the board.

• 34 handmade wooden pieces, including two extra queens.
• Felt bottoms protect the playing surface and reduce friction.
• Magnet strength balances secure transport with easy maneuverability.

Portability and Storage

When folded, the board measures 15 x 7.5 x 2 inches, offering portable storage without sacrificing durability. The design includes dedicated spots inside the box to keep every piece organized, so you’re less likely to misplace a piece on the go.

• Folded dimensions: 15 x 7.5 x 2 inches for easy carry.
• Internal storage keeps all pieces neatly in place.
• Compact enough for travel, parties, and outdoor activities.
